Abstract
⺠Dual active trehalase-invertase enzyme purified from Candida utilis. ⺠The native enzyme is a 175 kDa trimer. ⺠Chemically induced monomeric forms are inactive. ⺠Enzyme can hydrolyze sucrose more efficiently. ⺠The enzyme shows greater similarity to previously known neutral trehalases.
