Abstract
⺠1,25D3 stimulates Ca2+ uptake in immature rat testis. ⺠The Ca2+ uptake stimulated by 1,25D3 is mediated by ATP- and Ca2+-dependent K+ channels and Ca2+-dependent Clâ channels. ⺠The stimulatory effect of 1,25D3 on Ca2+ uptake depends on PKA, PKC and ERK1/2 pathways. ⺠1,25D3 is able to increase the gamma glutamyl transpeptidase activity.
