Abstract
⺠Oscillations in PSK2 mRNA levels that were in concert with Ultradian clock-coupled respiratory oscillation (UCRO). ⺠Inactivation of Psk2 by gene disruption severely affected UCRO. ⺠PSK2 mutant cells showed reduced glucose uptake, no change in redox state, and low synthesis of storage carbohydrates compared to the wild-type yeast.
