Abstract
► The role of myorod in molluscan catch muscle is still unknown. ► Full-length myorod and its N-terminal peptide are able to interact with thin filaments. ► Binding between thin filaments and the N-terminal peptide is Ca2+-dependent. ► Phosphorylation of myorod modifies its binding with myosin and thin filaments. ► We believe that myorod participates in the regulation of molluscan catch muscle.
