Abstract
⺠The role of myorod in molluscan catch muscle is still unknown. ⺠Full-length myorod and its N-terminal peptide are able to interact with thin filaments. ⺠Binding between thin filaments and the N-terminal peptide is Ca2+-dependent. ⺠Phosphorylation of myorod modifies its binding with myosin and thin filaments. ⺠We believe that myorod participates in the regulation of molluscan catch muscle.
