Abstract
⺠Characterization of the regulatory subunit of Yarrowia lipolytica PKA. ⺠Cloning and heterologous expression of an active Y. lipolytica regulatory subunit PKA holoenzyme is a dimeric protein of type RC. ⺠Regulatory subunits can not homodimerize due to differences in the N-terminus. âºY. lipolytica R subunit is phosphorylated in vivo at S124, thus belonging to type II.
