Abstract
⺠Vitamin D suppresses LPS- or TNFα- induced PAI-1 expression. ⺠A functional cis-κB element is identified in the mouse PAI-1 gene promoter. ⺠NF-κB mediates the stimulatory effect of LPS and TNFα on PAI-1. ⺠Vitamin D suppresses PAI-1 up-regulation via blocking NF-κB activation.
