Abstract
⺠The regulatory domain of rat phenylalanine hydroxylase was expressed in bacteria. ⺠Gel filtration and NMR spectroscopy show that the purified domain binds phenylalanine. ⺠These results are consistent with a regulatory site for phenylalanine.
