Abstract
Proposed mechanism of IDD-24 mediated improvement in insulin resistance in diabetic mice. A new anti-advanced glycation end products (AGEs) agent, IDD-24, decelerated AGEs formation in genetic mice model of diabetes. IDD-24 diminished RAGE - nuclear factor-κB signaling. Inhibition of JNK caused reduced serine phosphorylation of Insulin receptor substrate -1 (IRS-1) and hence enhanced insulin sensitivity.151
