Abstract
⺠Codon usage patterns of Taenia pisiformis were firstly studied. ⺠8118 annotations of transcriptome sequences were reconstructed. ⺠Twenty-four codons were determined as “optimal codons”. ⺠Gene expression level, degree of hydrophobicity and aromatic amino acids influenced codon usage.
