Abstract
⺠Chaotropic denaturation of immobilized protein antigen on a microplate is compatible with antibody detection by indirect ELISA. ⺠A short chemical denaturation step can facilitate antibody binding an increase antigen detection limit of an indirect ELISA. ⺠The quantitative detection of protein antigens by indirect ELISA can be improved by a simple chemical denaturation step.
