Abstract
⺠We tried to demonstrate controllable expression of the exogenous gene in chicken. ⺠GFP expression was induced by feeding the transgenic chicken with tetracycline. ⺠The GFP transgene was transmitted to the next generation. ⺠The induced expression was turned off by removal of tetracycline from the diet.
