Abstract
⺠Structure and ion activity of hIAPP channels in DOPC bilayer are studied. ⺠hIAPP channels are highly selective for Clâion transport. ⺠Multiple ion conductivity is directional from lower to upper leaflet of bilayer. ⺠Channel morphologies and dimensions are compatible with the experiments. ⺠Loosely-associated β-subunits are common structural motifs for amyloid pores.
