Abstract
⺠Ribonucleases can be cytotoxic for tumor cells. ⺠Ribonuclease cytotoxicity depends on membrane interaction. ⺠The ribonuclease-membrane interaction is a two-step process. ⺠The G38K variant of bovine seminal-ribonuclease has a stronger membrane interaction. ⺠Membrane interaction capability of ribonucleases correlates with their cytotoxicity.
