Abstract
⺠The effects of abasic sites in telomeric quadruplex are sequence-dependent. ⺠Abasic site lesions decrease the stability of the telomeric quadruplex structure. ⺠Thermal stability decrease is more evident if the lesion concerns the G-run centre.
