Abstract
⺠Ceramide 1-phosphate (C1P) is mitogenic and antiapoptotic for different cell types. ⺠C1P induces macrophage or stem cell migration through a Gi protein-coupled receptor. ⺠C1P can act both as pro-inflammatory or anti-inflammatory agent.
