Abstract
⺠In a new model lacking lipoprotein lipase (LPL) selectively in adipocytes, ⺠the absence of LPL leads to increased de novo lipogenesis in adipose tissue, ⺠the production of the anti-inflammatory fatty acid palmitoleate and ⺠mild metabolic improvements which are independent of white adipose tissue browning.
