Abstract
⺠Molecular mechanisms of dietary retinyl ester digestion are reviewed. ⺠Mechanisms of intestinal absorption of carotenoids and vitamin A are reviewed. ⺠A number of proteins regulate intestinal absorption of vitamin A and carotenoids.
