Abstract
► CLnA inhibited viability and cell growth of HT-29 more effective than CLA. ► All trans-CFAs were more effective compared to cis/trans-CFAs. ► Investigation of genes revealed absence of ∆5-/∆6-desaturases and elongases. ► This study confirmed conversion of CLnA isomers to CLA isomers. ► The conversion of CLA (t11,t13) into another CLA isomer (c9,t11) was shown.
