Abstract
⺠Fenofibrate increases plasma HDLc and human (h) apoA-I in hapoA-I transgenic mice. ⺠Fenofibrate induces the generation of larger HDL particles and preβ-HDL formation. ⺠Fenofibrate promotes reverse cholesterol transport from macrophages to feces in vivo. ⺠Our data would be consistent with a protective clinical effect of fenofibrate.
