Abstract
Omentin-1 is an independent predictor of BMD in premenopausal Chinese women, and shows a negative correlation with bone turnover biochemical markers. Our results suggest that omentin-1 may exert a negative effect on bone mass by inhibiting bone formation in premenopausal women.
