Abstract
► Circulating chemerin levels are associated with obesity and insulin resistance. ► The effect of lifestyle intervention on chemerin level has not been studied. ► Current study showed that the lifestyle intervention reduced circulating chemerin. ► Delta chemerin levels are associated with delta insulin and HOMA-IR. ► Chemerin may play an important role in insulin resistance improvement.
