Abstract
⺠Four mechanisms are predicted to enhance functions or targeted therapy of HDL. ⺠Caveolae recruit the HDL signal to bind their receptors. ⺠SR-BI mediates anchoring and fluidity for the signal-lipid of HDL. ⺠LCAT concentrates the signaling lipids at the surface of the HDL particle. ⺠MicroRNAs are delivered in blood to special targets by HDL.
