Abstract
⺠EtG and EtS analysis in urine fill the time-gap between ethanol measurement and CDT. ⺠Non-oxidative ethanol metabolites are very specific alcohol markers. ⺠Preanalytical considerations are important in forensic cases. ⺠PEth is a promising marker, but standardization is needed. ⺠FAEE and EtG in hair are very specific and have a long detection window.
