Abstract
⺠An algorithm to determine the chimerism in transplant patients was built. ⺠It is based in the study of a group of STR loci. ⺠It can be applied when the donor and/or recipient genetic profiles are unknown. ⺠The predicted values were closely correlated (r2 > 0.98) with the reference values. ⺠It can be a useful tool for laboratories involved in chimerism analysis.
