Abstract
⺠How well does the CKD-EPI equation for African-American and Asian subjects performs? ⺠This study presents mathematical analysis of the CKD-EPI equation. ⺠Literature overview of median/reference serum creatinine values for multiple races. ⺠Results confirm criticism on the CKD-EPI equation for multiple ethnicities. ⺠New eGFR model based on population-normalized serum creatinine is proposed.
