Abstract
► We evaluate basal urinary L-FABP excretion in chronic glomerulonephritis patients. ► A significant negative correlation between urinary L-FABP and eGFR. ► A positive correlation between urinary L-FABP and proteinuria, serum creatinine. ► Urinary L-FABP can predict progression of renal function and have more sensitive. ► Urinary L-FABP is a good marker of progressive kidney function impairment.
