Abstract
⺠To explore the importance of APOA5 185GG in lipoprotein lipase (LPL) activation. ⺠We generate 19 variants at this residue. ⺠Hydrolysis of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) is reduced by APOA5variants. ⺠APOA5 residue 185G is very important in LPL-mediated VLDL hydrolysis.
