Abstract
⺠First immunoassay for the semi-quantitative determination of meprobamate. ⺠Immunoassay suitable in human blood or plasma. ⺠Good correlation between the immunoassay and GC-MS (r = 0.90). ⺠Cross reactivity with carisoprodol between 26 and 38%. ⺠Useful in clinical laboratories for rapid diagnosis of meprobamate intoxication.
