Abstract
⺠Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood samples from 95 normal Taiwanese. ⺠A high resolution melting analysis was used to characterize the CYP2C8 polymorphism. ⺠All results were confirmed by direct DNA sequencing. ⺠Five new single nucleotide polymorphisms were found in exon 8 and exon 9. ⺠HRM analysis is a cost-effective screening method for gene mutation.
