Abstract
⺠Free-circulating nucleic acids become increasingly important. ⺠There is so far no standardized method for DNA isolation from plasma. ⺠We applied 3 different methods for DNA isolation from plasma in 2 different laboratories. ⺠Different yields are due to the methods used and not the isolation site.
