Abstract
⺠Triglyceride levels increase throughout the day by an average of 0.53 mmol/l in females and 1.05 mmol/l in males. ⺠Non-fasting triglycerides show the greatest intra-individual variability in males compared to females, especially in those with hypertriglyceridemia. ⺠The greatest increase in non-fasting intra-individual triglyceride variability occurs very late in the day (around dinner time and bedtime).
