Abstract
⺠The biomarkers proguanylin and prouroguanylin are natriuretic peptides. ⺠We evaluated two commercially available assays and characterized both analytes. ⺠The two assays meet the needs of quality specifications of laboratory medicine. ⺠We further describe analyte stabilities, biological variability and reference values.
