Abstract
⺠We compared the effect of two different blood collection tubes on cell-free mRNA. ⺠K3EDTA was compared to Cell-Free RNA BCT, which inhibits RNase and stabilizes cells. ⺠Blood drawn into K3EDTA showed significant changes in RNA concentration. ⺠Blood drawn into BCTs mitigated changes in RNA concentration.
