Abstract
⺠We analyzed the tear proteome of diabetic retinopathy (DR) patients. ⺠We have identified different 2-DE maps of tear from DR patients and healthy subjects. ⺠Several down- and up-regulated proteins were identified by ESI-Q-TOF MS/MS. ⺠Three proteins may constitute potential biomarkers for the diagnosis of early DR.
