Abstract
⺠Atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) reflects LDL and HDL particle sizes. ⺠We examined AIP in heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (FH). ⺠AIP was higher in FH group with cardiovascular disease. ⺠AIP may be connected to the risk of cardiovascular disease in FH patients.
