Abstract
⺠Nt-proBNP is a recognized biomarker for the diagnosis and risk stratification of heart failure. ⺠Our results indicate that Nt-proBNP levels measured with homogeneous immunoassay based on LOCI® technology are significantly correlated to the Nt-proBNP reference assay in HF patients. ⺠Furthermore, our study shows that Nt-proBNP levels measured with the LOCI® method are significantly correlated to NYHA functional classes, to the left ventricular ejection fraction and to biomarkers of HF worsening course.
