Abstract
- UVB-induced mutation in the skin epidermis of Polhâ/â mouse was analyzed.
- UVB induced remarkably more mutations in Polhâ/â than in Polh+/+ and Polh+/â mice.
- UV-signature mutations were predominant in the Polhâ/â mutation spectrum.
- Sequence context preferences of the mutations in Polhâ/â and Polh+/+ were different.
- Minor but significant recoveries of G â T transversion were observed in Polhâ/â mice.
