Abstract
⺠CLA isomers stimulate (Cai2+) release. ⺠CLA isomer-mediated signals require both autoregulatory and calcium/calmodulin binding domains of CaMKII. ⺠Genetic knockdown of CaMKII prevents CLA-mediated glucose uptake. ⺠t10,c12-CLA stimulates skeletal muscle glucose transport via Cai2+-CaMKII-AMPK-AS160 ⺠Acute CLA-mediated ROS production does not modulate SAPK/JNK phosphorylation.
