Abstract
- Magnetic carboxymethyl starch/poly(vinyl alcohol) (mCMS/PVA) hydrogel was prepared by a one-step method.
- The mCMS/PVA exhibited high removal efficiency for cationic methylene blue dye.
- Adsorption process of mCMS/PVA fitted pseudo-second-order model and Freundlich isotherm.
- The mCMS/PVA presented good reusability and easy magnetic separation property.
