Abstract
- Aceclofenac-chitosan cocrystals encapsulated SDDS has been developed successfully.
- Dissolution rate of aceclofenac enhanced by cocrystalization with chitosan.
- Developed floating SDDS is capable of controlling the release of drug for extended time.
- In vitro and In vivo performance of the system is good as expected.
- SDDS system is useful to deliver the poorly soluble and gastric irritant drugs.
