Abstract
► Tyrosinase was successfully immobilized in conducting polymers. ► The enzyme electrodes showed interesting kinetic data. ► PEO-co-PPy matrix protected enzyme against high temperatures and pHs well. ► CP-co-PPY/yeast cells electrodes have good operational and storage stabilities. ► Tyrosinase in these copolymers matrices worked well for l-Dopa synthesis.
