Abstract
► HA of 13, 65,863 Da was isolated from marine renewable oomph for the first time. ► Confirmed and characterized with UV-spectrophotometer, FTIR, HPTLC and 1H NMR. ► Carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, uronic acid and N-acetyl glucosamine contents were revealed. ► Exhibited significant anti-proliferation and antioxidant activities. ► Consequently, influences its role as a biomaterial in therapeutic applications.
