Abstract
⺠SEO can be incorporated into carrageenan to produce antimicrobial films. ⺠The composite emulsified films effectively inhibited the five pathogens tested. ⺠SEO affected the antioxidant properties of the carrageenan films. ⺠The WVP of the films was reduced by adding SEO.
