Abstract
► Synergistic effect of salt on the gelation temperature of MC. ► The gelation temperature was measured by TTM (test tube tilting method), viscometer, UV-vis spectroscopy, and rheometer. ► Morphological study of hydrogel has been studied with ESEM. ► Well-connected network structure is observed when a mixture 0.1 M sodium citrate and 0.1 M sodium tartrate was used.
