Abstract
⺠We prepare sulfated polysaccharide ascophyllan from brown alga Ascophyllum nodosum. ⺠Ascophyllan is capable of inducing ROS generation in RAW264.7 cells through the activation of NADPH oxidase. ⺠Ascophyllan induces the respiratory burst activation in RAW264.7 cells via JNK signaling pathway.
