Abstract
⺠Water-soluble gossypol derivative conjugated with N-polyvinylpyrrolidone has been synthesized. ⺠The new gossypol derivative has shown a high antioxidant and antiradical activities. ⺠Significant protection of mitochondria against oxidative damage in vivo has been demonstrated. ⺠New water-soluble gossypol derivative can be considered for treatment of diseases that are characterized by oxidative damage.
