Abstract
⺠Cellulase aggregates at 300 mM ascorbic and 10 mM boric acid are detected. ⺠Strong protein-protein interactions owing to aggregation may affect the equilibrium of many reactions in vivo. ⺠The molten globule state of cellulase at 90 mM ascorbic acid is investigated. ⺠Ascorbic acid being an anti-oxidant shows pro-oxidant nature under certain conditions.
