Abstract
⺠Quaternized chitosan fiber was successfully prepared by ring-open reaction. ⺠Quaternized chitosan fiber showed high liquid-absorption capacity. ⺠Quaternized chitosan fiber had strong antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus. ⺠Quaternized chitosan fiber could be an excellent candidate for wound dressing.
