Abstract
⺠We performed chemoenzymatic synthesis of amylose-grafted xanthan gum. ⺠The hydrogels of the products were prepared through the gels with the ionic liquid. ⺠The resulting hydrogels exhibited more elastic property than a xanthan gum hydrogel. ⺠The ionically cross-linked hydrogels were also prepared using FeCl3 aqueous solution. ⺠The cross-linked hydrogels showed good mechanical property.
