Abstract
⸠Vitamin D inhibits growth of prostate cancer cells. ⸠Vitamin D3 supplementation benefits subjects with low-risk prostate cancer. ⸠African-American men have lower circulating levels of vitamin D than Caucasian men. ⸠African-Americans have a higher incidence of prostate cancer than Caucasians. ⸠Vitamin D3 supplementation could reduce prostate cancer-related health disparities.
